2008 KWLEN CONFERENCE: November 19 - 21

  • Student Day Workshops: "Careers in Law Enforcement"
    Thursday, November 20

  • Morning Session: 9 am - 12:15 pm, Afternoon Session: 2:45 pm - 5 pm
  • Lunch: 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm
  • Attend both sessions for $30
  • Careers in Law Enforcement Day is a one-day program for student members and individuals interested in future careers in law enforcement. Workshops are designed to assist students in networking with law enforcement professionals and learning about employment opportunities in federal, state and local law enforcement and corrections. Students will also learn about important law enforcement topics and engage in hands-on, interactive training exercises under the supervision and guidance of law enforcement trainers.

  • 2008 KWLEN AWARDS:

    The Kentucky Women’s Law Enforcement Network is now accepting nominations for the annual awards recognition program. Awards are presented annually during the KWLEN Training Conference. Awards nominees are selected by a committee appointed by the KWLEN Board of Directors. Awards are given for outstanding leadership and visionary contributions to the law enforcement; actions, activities or achievements of individuals who have significantly contributed to women in law enforcement in Kentucky; and actions or activities of persons who provide positive role models for our women in Kentucky law enforcement.
