Since KWLEN is about all things Kentucky, we keep our conference in the state. For the past three years, we have traveled to different state resort parks. Prior to that, we hosted the conference in popular hotels and tourist locations. 

KWLEN members come from all areas of the criminal justice system. Patrol, dispatch, crime scene collection and probation and parole just to name a few. So with the conference training, we like to offer a wide range of topics that members can not only learn from, but topics that are interesting, thought provoking, and job related. During every conference, members collect items that are to be donated to a local organization. Depending upon where the conference is located, members seek out local groups that are in need of assistance. During every conference, we allow time for vendors from the community and from across the state to come out and showcase their products, training programs, and services to our members. Vendors can be small businesses, big companies and educational organizations. Since KWLEN is a non profit organization, we raise money during the conference by hosting a silent auction. Items donated come from across the state, as well as from local businesses. Want to donate? Use the form below and we'll arrange a pick-up!

During every conference, we recognize members for their outstanding leadership, community involvement, and professional accomplishments. Those on this committee research potential candidates and present them their award.
